ScoreMyBooks gives general educational information about the quality of bookkeeping records. It is not tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice, and it is not an audit, review, compilation, or attestation of any kind. Using the service does not create a CPA-client, attorney-client, or other professional relationship. Talk to a licensed CPA, tax professional, or attorney before making decisions based on a report.
Reports are generated automatically from the file you upload and typical industry ranges. They may be incomplete or wrong, especially if the file is incomplete, mislabeled, or in an unusual format. You are responsible for how you use the results.
Upload only files you have the right to share. Files are deleted right after processing (see our Privacy Policy). Don't upload malicious files or try to disrupt the service.
The full report costs $5 (USD), paid once through Stripe. All sales are final. We don't offer refunds beyond Stripe's standard dispute process.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScoreMyBooks's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the report in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including tax penalties, interest, or lost profits.
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept them.
